Franklin Golf Couse

Franklin Golf Course Nestled in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, Franklin Golf Course has been a family tradition since 1923. Our convenient location, beautiful views, challenging course, and family atmosphere make Franklin Golf Course a great choice for golfers of all ages and skill levels. The course is 9 holes, par 36, and is 2,933 yards in length. Other amenities include a putting green, swimming pool, driving range, a fully stocked pro shop, snack bar, and complete club repair shop that offers custom club fitting for all ages. Franklin Golf Course is open year round from 8 am until dusk. The public is always welcome, and annual memberships are available.

 

Pro Shop Franklin Golf Course's Pro Shop can satisfy all your golfing needs. Need to update those old, worn out clubs? Choose from name brands such as Nike, Adams Golf, Wilson, Rawlings, Mizuno, and Precept. Be sure to check out our apparel as well. The Pro Shop has a variety of caps, polo shirts, and shoes to choose from. If the need arises, take advantage of our in house club repair. Repairs, grips, or even custom fitting - we can do it on site.

Swimming Pool The water sparkles in the heat of the midday sun, so if you are ready to cool off, put on your trunks and dive on in. Relax and enjoy the sun on the deck or make a few laps; it is all up to you. If you work up an appetite while poolside, place an order in the snack bar. So, bring the whole family down and soak up the sun.

Driving Range

Need to work on your golf swing? Get a small, medium, or large bucket of balls and fine tune your skills. If you cannot seem to get rid of that nasty slice or hook, ask about our golf lessons. An on site instructor can give you pointers and get you back on track to hitting the ball long and straight. Located next to the first tee, it makes it easy to stretch those muscles and warm up before you tee off.

Regular Golf Membership

Individual: $1,300.00 annually Family: $1,800.00 annually

Seasonal Individual: $1,050.00* Seasonal Family: $1450.00

*NOTE: Seasonal Memberships are from April 1 – October 31

A Golf Membership includes no greens fees, complimentary GHIN handicap service, 1 guest pass with complimentary greens fee (cart fees apply), a 10% discount on all Pro Shop soft goods, and a Member Dinner every other month (non-member guest/spouse will pay whatever the cost of the meal is). Guests for the Member Dinner are defined as houseguests visiting the area and do not own property in Macon County. Family includes spouse and any children under the age of 23 that live in the household.

Week End Golf Membership

Individual: $650.00 annually Family: $850.00 annually

Each Week End Golf Member will be entitled to no greens fees on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. Family includes spouse and any children under the age of 23 that live in the household.

Twilight Membership

Individual: $700.00 annually Family: $1,000.00 annually

Each Twilight Member will be entitled to no greens fees and will be able to play golf any day of the week after 3:00 pm during Daylight Savings Time. Otherwise, member may play any day of the week after 1:00 pm. Family includes spouse and any children under the age of 23 that live in the household.

Junior Golf Membership – 15 years and under

$200.00 annually

Each Junior Golf Member will be entitled to no greens fees any day of the week. Juniors must play after 2:00 pm. Any Junior wishing to play prior to 2:00 pm must be accompanied by a licensed driver and will be charged a cart fee.

Trail Fee

Individual: $900.00 annually per cart Family: $1,100.00 annually per cart

NOTE: Seasonal trail fees are not available

A Trail Fee can be purchased by persons owning a golf cart and will entitle the purchaser and immediate family members to play golf for greens fee (s) only. A trail fee will be charged for each golf cart used by a member(s). Anyone purchasing a family trail fee will be required to pay a reduced cart fee if another family member needs to use a Club cart. A cart ID will be provided and must be displayed on the cart(s).
